Certain people in life, they enter at exactly the right time, and provide some support when you really needed it. 

Do you know someone like that?  Sometimes you actually are asking for one type of help, but ending up getting other gifts from the relationship that you didn’t know you needed, and had no idea were possible.  Gifts that made all the difference.  Do you have someone in your life like that?

What if we spent this moment to call to mind that person right now-  and you allow yourself to experience the gratitude that you naturally feel about that person.

In today’s episode, I get to share with you someone who is like that, for me. 

I want to intro her here to you briefly so that when she and I record we’ll just be conversing.  I first learned of Selena Soo in 2017 because I saw an ad that her business was running on Instagram.  Selena helps heart-forward business owners to break through the noise with the right media partners, among many many other things as you’ll find out.  What I saw drew me in, in part because of the graceful way she showed me through her own business that there’s nothing wrong with standing out.  Given my background, and even just some of the history I have already shared with you, you might have a sense of why this was so horizon-expanding for me.  I was a prior military, ex-corporate, mountain climbing, solitude seeking, head down, nose to the grindstone, work harder not smarter kind of person at the time.  Selena made a strategy all about ease, authenticity, and connection accessible to someone like me who really didn’t like the idea of attracting attention.  That aversion by the way, was because of some wounded parts in me, which through time, being in Selena’s community and her sphere, actually helped me to heal. 

Fastforward to the end of 2018 and when Selena created an intimate, business mastermind for women entrepreneurs, I was all in.  I was able to be a part of that community for 2 years.  The connections, transformations, and growth that occurred as a direct result of my relationship with Selena were obvious to me and those who know me best.  While I thought that business strategy and performance enhancing hacks were what I needed, one thing I learned from Selena is the value of connection, and how to actually be in closer connection to myself and others.  She lives out values of collaboration, generosity, and excellence, which I see in her execution.  Her own business is fueled by the power of connection, which is why her flagship offering called Impacting Millions, which is perfect for entrepreneurs, and anyone with a message to share, launches once a year and is incredibly successful because of her strong relationships with affiliate partners, and her natural and developed leadership abilities.
