Whatever you're dealing with, this will help…
It’s NOT another “call to action,” because I don’t know about you, but I have remained busier than ever while doing the work-from-home shuffle...
Here’s what I see.
The most defining aspect of the spread of covid-19 compared to other events of the times, is our inability to predict what will happen. The future feels more UNKNOWN to many than it usually does. “What will happen?” we can’t help but wonder, and ask ourselves and each other.
In the immediate term, wages are impacted, employment uncertainty, health concerns, the whole gamet. I understand. And believe me, I understand wanting to know what’s going to happen. My wedding is currently set for June 6, 2020...
I just put invitation printing on pause a couple of days ago because I want to understand more about whether it will be safe / prudent / sensible to host an in-person event in north Georgia in June.
Sure, I want our wedding to “go”. I want to know RIGHT NOW what will happen. I want to move forward immediately in the way that is best for 200 people we are considering inviting.
But I don’t get to know the answer yet. Not until the future happens.
The thing is, the future was always uncertain; it is always unknowable. We just don’t usually experience it as widely, as obviously, or as acutely as we are as a civilization, as a race, right now.
Right now we’re collectively squaring off with the fact, that “We don’t KNOW for sure what the future holds.”
Me personally? I think we’re doing a wonderful job of managing that type of shock to the system of collective awareness. How about you?
Speaking of which, do you know what I’m NOT putting on pause?
· I’m NOT putting on pause the hourly work I contract for weekly in support of me, my current and future clients, and the mission of peace I serve... we need to keep resources moving in this economy, and I intend to do my part, and all I can.
· I’m NOT putting on pause strategic conversations of future support for the needs of my family, my company, or myself.
· I’m NOT putting on pause the way I show up for current, past, and future humans who need my knowledge, my energy, my love and kindness as a professional and a leader in the space of peace, presence, and healing.
· I’m NOT putting on pause the free resources I provide to people who have real need.
· I’m NOT putting on pause my availability to give my time to those in need virtually.
· I’m NOT succumbing to fear and putting on pause contract work I’ve previously committed to, regarding my own development and growth.
· And I’m NOT putting on pause how I share good news that the world needs in order to heal.
Others jobs and livelihoods matter to me. How we do anything is how we do everything. And I am going to serve through my business, until/unless for some reason I can't. This is OUR economy, and we will get through this.
In the coming 7 days, I have good news to share about ways that Palladium Mind services are changing, adapting, and staying constant through this time of uncertainty.
My previous best laid plans are being adjusted to support the needs of anyone who I can reach and support during a difficult time!
You might have noticed I had big plans of a digital product coming to an inbox near you - well it's still happening, but not as it was planned to originally. I'll share a little bit every day, so please watch if you or ANYONE you know could use some extra love and support at this time.
In the mean time, if you’re feeling unsettled in any way, take these 3 actions to step into power right now, and to be that beacon of light and strength for your family, your loved ones, and most importantly, for your SELF:
1. Practice your gratitude daily.
2. Get present to what is actually real in your environment today. Review information for fact, conjecture, or futurizing.
3. Stay present. Worrying is imagining something negative that has not happened yet. When we’re worrying we’re not in action. Our worry is not HELPING others, but our ACTIONS will. Awareness and action combine to create equanimity in uncertainty.
